The last day of school is June 9. Parents are invited to come and celebrate the last day of 4K by enjoying a treat and playing on the playground. It will be from 10:30-11:30. See you then!

• practiced the letter Uu. We have completed all the letters!
• wrote numbers 1-20 and started talking about addition.
• talked about Mary in religion.
• went to Mass. The kids did a great job!
• wrote in our Farm Journal.
• made a pig and a horse.
• enjoyed Rainbow Olympics! What a great day!

On Monday we are going to the farm from 8:30-11:15. The children can be out of uniform. Remember to send an extra pair of shoes along.

• made haystacks and pigs in a blanket. They were delicious!
• talked about praying with our church family.
• went to Mass and watched the second graders receive the body and blood of Christ. It was very special!
• made Mother's Day gifts. We hope the moms enjoy them!

Tuesday is Rainbow Olympics

• Out of Uniform - wear team color
• Lunch is provided. If your child does not like hot dogs please send a bag lunch.

The last book order went home this week. It is due next week. There are some great books for the summer.

We are going to Mrs. Melichar's farm on May 22 from 8:30-11:15. Please consider chaperoning on this fun field trip. We can take as many parents that would like to go along.

June 9 is the last day of school. We will go to Mass at 8:30. At 10:30 parents are invited for an end of the year get together starting at 10:30. We will play outside and have a treat. Hope you will be able to make it.

• made a cute Easter bunny.
• made an Easter basket that the Easter bunny filled! We were so excited!
• colored pictures about holy week and put them on a banner.
• painted a beautiful stained glass window.
• wrote numbers 1-19.
• talked about numbers that are between and after.
• reviewed letters and numbers.
• drew a picture and wrote about one thing we did over the weekend.
• had an Easter egg hunt at Meadowmere and then had a cookie and juice. Yum!
