This week in 4K we...

• practiced the letter Gg and the number 11.
• started our "All About Me" unit.
• continued working with 2D and 3D shapes in math centers. We ate 3D shapes as part of our learning. Ask your child what they ate and the shape of the food.
• made a cute "All About Me" poster.
• painted our bodies. They are so adorable!
• made Arthur with the chicken pox on "I Feel Sick" day! It sure was fun wearing our PJ's to school and pretending we were sick!

Next week we will...

• practice the letter Bb and the number 12.
• continue our All About Me unit.
• enjoy all of the Catholic Schools Week activities.

Just a note...

• Your child brought home an "I Can Do It" chart. Please have your child put a sticker on the chart each day they do the job. Return it after they have done it for a week.
• Next Friday we will have activities most of the day. Your child does not need to bring snow clothes. We will not have recess. If your child did not order pizza for lunch they will need to bring a cold lunch.
• Feb. 8 we will be going to Sendik's. Please send the permission back at your earliest convenience. 
• Feb. 10 is the 100th day of school.
• Feb. 14 we will be having our Valentine's Day party. The children can bring each child a valentine. Please have your child sign the card with his/her first name, but do not address it to a child. It is too difficult for the children to deliver them if they are addressed to specific children.
• Feb. 17 is Exercise Day and Book Cooks from 9:00-10:00. The children can be out of uniform and come in their exercise clothes.
